Its been years that I have been trying to do something of my own that allows passion for living. Here is where my journey begins, and I wish that people reading my articles to understand and hope I my little contributions give more insight to what we have here in North-east, India.

Street-Shop on the way to Kohima. 

The journey that I started early in the morning from Dimapur, Nagaland to Kohima, the capital of Nagaland. This is the first stop that I made and look to the surprise that I get to see many new fruits  and vegetables which I have never seen before. I guess the journey ahead will give me the be the best dishes of the region here.

This is the stop that we first made since our ride from Dimapur, the roads very bumpy but this stop made our journey smooth. looks like the warm welcome of nature here will be great, and the food here is waiting for me to be in my stomach. looks like I'm gonna fill my appetite
here. 







I'll have my lunch in capital so Sorry veggies


The driver here told me that we will be reaching the capital in two hours, so the place I'm in right now is the mid-way between Dimapur and Kohima. This place is crowded with every morning traveller. looks like this place serves a good service. And I'm to enjoy some of its early morning and have a good red tea. Well my mates that I'm travelling with are busy and I'll keep updating of what happens when we reach Kohima.

By: Himsiringdao Hapila   Vekuvolu Dozo is a young loin loom weaver from Nagaland.  Vekuvolu learned weaving from her aunt at the age of 18. She says, “It is important in our culture to know how to weave on a loin loom as a ritual in our tribe involves gifting a shawl to the groom by the bride.” Lion loom is one of the most primitive forms of weaving.
